Ken Whiteman


Ken Whiteman is the founder of Whiteman Property & Accounting and over 20 years as a Project Director & Project Manager with vast experience across a wide range of the property industry including Rezoning, Land Subdivision, Multi-Unit Development, Commercial & Industrial projects.

Ken has extensive experience in Project Manager and knowledge in working, management and executive level. Ken has previously held a number of senior management roles including Managing Director at Rathwell Property Development and Sidcorp and Project Manager at Satterley Property Group.

Ken is delicate to project development and financial management of the project including key financial data reporting, feasibility study, cash flow and delivering project milestones. Ken’s practical knowledge has been recognised and highly values by our clients and the industry.

 

Phill Cabret


Phil joined the Whiteman Property and Accounting team as a Project Manager in 2014. Previous roles have included Managing Director of Inglewood Homes and Managing Director of a Property Development Company both based in Melbourne.

Phil has extensive experience in leading large teams to achieve outstanding project outcomes which continue to deliver value to clients, investor and stakeholders groups.  

Previous successes has enabled Phil to maintain robust long-term relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, construction organisations and build a reputation for delivering quality projects ‘on-time’ and ‘on budget’.

Previous academic achievements include a Master of Project Management (RMIT), Graduate Certificate in Construction Management (RMIT), Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Master Builders of Victoria) and a Certificate IV in Estimating and Cost Control (Master Builders of Victoria). 

Trina Seow


Trina joined Whiteman’s team as Project Manager in October 2012 with strong project management skills that she can deliver a clear and practical understanding of the project methodology that enables to achieve the successful outcome for the project.

Since joining the team, Trina has implemented new approach in developing management system that able to refine the processes and define what is require from the team and clients. Trina is a valuable member of the team.

Trina holds Bachelor of Industrial Design Degree (Honours) from Monash University and a Master Degree in Project Management from Royal Melbourne Intuition Technology.

 

Niall McGovern


Niall joined the Whiteman Property and Accounting Team as a Senior Project Manager in March 2015. Prior to accepting the role, Niall had been Team Leader of the Growth Area Projects team within the Strategic Planning & Design department at City of Whittlesea since 2012. Having commenced employment at City of Whittlesea in 2009, Niall had previously worked as a Strategic Planner and Urban Designer at Tract Consultants from 2004 to 2008.

During his time at City of Whittlesea, Niall has had exposure to a wide range of different strategic and statutory projects where he has been able to project manage and contribute to the preparation of structure plans, development plans, whilst assessing subdivision applications and a variety of mixed use development proposals. Throughout this time, Niall has developed strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders at both local and state government as well as with key consultants in the development industry.

Niall’s tertiary qualification includes a Bachelor Of Applied Science (Planning) with a Certificate in Urban Design at RMIT University in 2004.

 

Cristina Consiglio


Cristina has recently joined the Whiteman Property and Accounting Team in the role of Graduate Town Planner and Project Manager. Prior to accepting this role in September 2015, Cristina had been working as a Planning Consultant at Urbis Pty Ltd for approximately 18 months whilst she completed her studies. At the end of 2015, Cristina successfully completed her course at RMIT University where she obtained a degree in Urban & Regional Planning with honours.

Cristina spoke at the Australasian Urban History/Planning History conference held at the Gold Coast in January 2016 to present her research on the historical importance of food within cities and how we can plan to use food as a tool for resilience in the face of a contemporary crisis.

During her time at WPA, Cristina has had exposure to a wide range of strategic and statutory projects where she has been able to assist with the project management of a series of subdivision and multi-dwelling development proposals. In addition to preparing planning permit applications, a key component of Cristina’s role has been the preparation due diligence reports and assessments to assist with land acquisition. As a result of this, Cristina has been able to establish a strong working relationship with each of WPA’s key clients.

Dillon Fiorini


Dillon has recently joined the Whiteman Property and Accounting Team in the role of Project Manager and commenced employment in October 2015. Prior to accepting this role, Dillon had been working as a Civil Engineer and Project Manager at Comdain Infrastructure Pty Ltd for two years whilst completing his Bachelor of Civil Engineering at RMIT, where he was able to obtain first class honours. At the end of 2014, Dillon returned to University where he is currently completing a Masters in Financial Analysis (Investments). Dillon’s broad range of skills has equipped him to take property projects from inception through to construction.

During his short time working at WPA, Dillon has provided assistance on a wide range of property projects where he has been able to assist with the project management of a variety of different residential and commercial developments and ensuring all projects process appropriately. Throughout this period, Dillon has been able to develop strong working relationships with our growing clientele and a range of specialised consultants in the industry that assist WPA.

Sam Lane


Sam has recently joined the Whiteman Property and Accounting Team as a Town Planner and Project Manager in August 2016. Sam has had over five years’ experience at both the local government sector and private sector. 

Sam has developed an in-depth knowledge of the Victorian planning system and has a strong work ethic with the ability to achieve quality outcomes within specified time frames. Sam has experience in both preparing and assessing a diverse range of land use and development applications within residential, commercial, industrial, rural and activity centre zones. 

During his time at the City of Whittlesea Sam has had exposure to assessing multi-lot subdivision applications within the growth areas of Epping North, Wollert, Mernda and Doreen. His most recent experience at Moreland gave him exposure to assessing applications under stringent neighbourhood character and heritage controls. 

Sam’s role at Whiteman Property & Accounting will be to prepare planning applications and to liaise with Council as well as to provide planning advice                                                         and prepare due diligence reports.  

 

John Murphy


John has been heavily involved in Commercial Development since 2004. He has been involved in the purchase obtaining permits, leasing, and construction of Commercial Properties including areas such as Doreen, Coburg, South Morang, Mill Park and much more. He has a strong working relationship with both sides of the Government and Local Council, building a logical and balanced approach to developing to achieve a great outcome for al involved. 

Anthea Putt


Anthea joined the Whiteman Property and Accounting Team as Office Administration Manager and the Head Interior Designer in 2007. Prior to starting at WPA, Anthea worked at a series of architectural consultancies and during which time established her own private company Anthea Putt Interior Design.

During this time, Anthea completed predominantly residential projects acting on behalf of a range of property developers, project managers and builders, which also included a contract commercial project for Interior Living. Anthea has also worked with Valiant Hire as a property stylist and completed a series of projects on behalf of City of Boroondara.

Anthea’s key skills include the appropriate selection of colours, finishes, materials, fittings and furniture for new developments and renovations, scheduling and documentation colours, finishes, materials and fittings for marketing material. Additional services offered by Anthea includes the production of colour boards with a clear emphasis on liaising personally with clients, builders, sales representatives and suppliers. Anthea prides herself of taking projects from inception through to completion and will undertake a series of site inspections whilst completing her projects.

Yvette Whiteman


Yvette joined Whiteman’s team in 2010 as Landscape Designer. Yvette brings her strong experience in landscaping design that interacts with the use of space and nature to deliver the best results of the site in respect to maintenance, beauty and environmental friendly.

Yvette holds an Associated Diploma In Landscape Design & Horticulture from NMIT.

 

Ken Parker


Ken joined Whiteman’s team in 2013 as Senior Tax accountant. Ken is a member of CPA Australia and has over 40 years experience in accountancy and taxation.

Ken has held senior tax positions with KPMG and Cadbury Schweppes. He has also worked with Rio Tinto as well as an assessor and investigator with the Australian Taxation Office.

Ken has strong experience in preparing income tax returns, Business Activity Statements, Fringe Benefits Tax Returns as well as Tax Effect Accounting.

 

Jason Lawler


Jason joined Whiteman's team in 2014 as a senior tax accountant. Jason is a member of CPA Australia and has over 15 years experience in accountancy and taxation in both public accounting and the private sector.

Jason has held financial controller positions most recently with Metcalf Crane Services in the Construction Industry and K W Doggett Fine Paper in the paper industry. He has also held senior management accounting positions with OZjet Airlines and Village Roadshow.

Jason brings a strong financial control back ground to Whiteman's. Business planning, budgeting and cash flow forecasting are all strengths that Jason brings to the business.

Kate Landers


Kate has been with Whiteman’s team since 2010 and is an essential part of the team for managing internal payrolls and administrative as well as external book keeping for accounting clients.

Kate brings over 10 years of experiences in managing book keeping, administrative and customer services skills into the team. Kate is a valuable to the team member.

Kate is a registered BAS agent and holds a Certificate IV in Financial Services.
